A great turn-out for Snug Vest at the “5th Annual Walk Now for Autism Speaks”
Walk Now for Autism hosted by Autism Speaks Canada took place at Stanley Park in Vancouver, Canada on Sunday September 30th. As the event was surrounded by live music, giant mascots, and bubble blowers, families were gathered to learn more about local services and resources regarding autism and related disorders. The Snug Vest team were excited to explain the benefits of Deep Pressure Therapy as well as the Snug Vest to families in need, and let them experience the effects that Snug Vest and Deep Pressure can have on individuals with autism.
We are immensely touched by all the supportive families and friends who have helped raise $185,000 to fund vital research and family services. We hope that everyone who has participated feels inspired and that many have gained knowledge of how the Snug Vest can assist individuals who are diagnosed with autism to maintain relieve anxiety, self-regulate, and much more.
