Theo Fleury loves his Snug Vest
Snug Vest isn't only used for people with autism - many people can benefit! We currently have people with past trauma, traumatic brain injuries, fetal alcohol spectrum disorder and general anxiety who are benefitting from Deep Pressure Therapy. Theo Fleury is one of those.
Theo played in the National Hockey League for many different teams between 1988 and 2003. Most notably, he won the Stanley Cup with the Calgary Flames in 1989 and played in several All-Star games throughout his career. He also helped take the Canadian Men's Ice Hockey team to gold in the 2002 Winter Olympics.
In 2009, Fleury released an autobiography titled "Playing with Fire." In the book he documents his struggle with drugs and alcohol, as well as the sexual abuse his Junior League coach has subject him to. Fleury is now a motivational speaker who has motivated many sexual abuse victims to seek help.
Last year, in November 2014, Theo Fleury released a new book called "Conversations with a Rattlesnake" co-written with world-renowned Therapist Kim Barthel.
Theo Fleury has a Snug Vest to help him cope with and heal from the trauma and abuse in his past. Soon after he received his Snug Vest, Theo sent out this tweet:
We're so glad that Theo loves his Snug Vest and that it is helping him heal. We are so excited to help many other people regardless of their past, diagnosis or struggles.
