Snug Vest on Dragons' Den
Snug Vest will be on Dragons' Den on April 1st to kick off Autism Awareness Month! Over a year ago, Snug Vest founder Lisa Fraser flew to Toronto to face the Dragons and share with them her story of discovering the need for Deep Pressure and designing Snug Vest for kids with autism. We just found out the good news: they will be airing Snug Vest facing the Dragons on April 1st on CBC at 8:00pm!
According to a press release, "Dragons’ Den is the highest-rated Canadian unscripted program on during the regular television season, with an average audience of more than 1.2 million Canadians each week. In addition to its success on-air, DRAGONS’ DEN is also a hit online, boasting an active and engaged online community averaging more than 650,000 page views per month. Full episodes and exclusive behind-the-scenes content can be viewed at cbc.ca/dragonsden." This will include our episode sometime after it airs on April 1st.
April is also Autism Awareness Month, so we are very excited to be talking about autism on a major national TV show to kick off the month. We hope that our episode will make people across Canada from different backgrounds think a little about autism on April 1st.Pitchers from across the country face the Dragons with the hopes of experiencing the "Dragons' Den Effect", marked by a dramatic jump in sales and other significant business growth opportunities. We are so happy to be one of those companies this year, and hope that the episode helps spread word about Snug Vest across the country!
