OCALICON 2014 Recap
Thank you so much to everyone who came out to our booth in Columbus, Ohio last week at OCALICON 2014. We were so excited to have hundreds of Resource Teachers, Behavioural Consultants, Individuals on the Spectrum, Education Consultants, Occupational Therapists and families try on a Snug Vest. We had a ton of really great feedback and excitement from people who had been looking for alternative to weighted products for years.
We were in the Innovation Playground with many other new innovations for the autism world including RoboKind, Safe and Found, C8 Sciences and ProxTalker. Be sure to check out these ground-breaking technologies.
We also had the immense pleasure of meeting Stephen Shore and Chloe Rothschild. Stephen came by and tried on a Snug Vest, and even took it to dinner. We were happy to see him looking stylish in his Snug Vest all day Thursday as he attended presentations and chatted with people.
Chloe wore her Snug Vest to dinner, and we were soon getting quotes such as this one:
We were soon hearing from Chloe herself:
We are so happy that Chloe benefitted from the Snug Vest, and that it helped her have a more enjoyable, longer dinner (after all, she said herself she's a very social person!). We hope that Snug Vest continues to help you self-regulate so that you can take part in the activities you love!
We were also very fortunate to work with C. Blohm & Associates, Inc. who were sponsoring the Innovation Playground with ARC Capital Development. Not only did we benefit from Kristina (a representative of C. Blohm & Associates) warmly welcoming everyone into the playground, but they also featured us in an episode of Autism Live! Be sure to check out our episode, and the whole series!
